Completely agree with you.
After the first 151 pokemon it began to get ridiculous.

Although I enjoyed the Gold and Silver games, there were quite alot of generic looking pokemon.
And after those games all of them just look like shapes!

They should remake Gold and Silver just adding the advanced battle features and items from the later games.

I agree competely, I was watching it this morning and I was thinking "dawn shut the heck up" "Ash when did you get this stupid" "Why is Brock not hitting on everyone?"(not that I liked that but y'know) I grew up with 1st season pokemon and digimon they were both good and now I hope they stop making both shows because they're ruining a good thing. (also may and Dawn are extremely dumb,what happened to misty?)

I totally agree with you. I didn't like Dawn. Sigh. Sad. But for some weird reason I liked Hoenn's pokemon. But I totally hate the new ones. They look like digimon to me.

It definitely is not the same. When the show first came out they (Ash, Brock and Misty) had a connection that seems to have faded from the show. It was still there when they began the Jhoto Journeys but when the show went "Advanced" things really began to fall apart The relationship Ash and Brock wasn't the same with May (and her brother), The same can be said for Dawn.

And when 4Kids gave up the series and another company started doing the dubs it just made things worse. With a whole new group of voice actors it was a distraction to hear different voices instead of the ones you were familiar with. YUCK!

As to the games I've only played the Red, Blue and Yellow (Pikachu) versions of the game butI still play them once in a while - not very often, but I still play them.

The gold and Silver editions are being remade as HeartGold and SouSilver for the DS. Fire Red and Leaf Green were reworkings of Red and Blue for Gameboy Advanced.
